Organized arrays of single crystalline semiconductor nanoribbons, nanomembranes and nanowires represent an enabling class of thin film type material for flexible/stretchable circuits suitable for display and other applications. This paper describes methods to create and manipulate such materials, and a variety of device demonstrators to illustrate key capabilities.
