This paper will discuss the temperature compensated VCOM calibrator to minimize the flickering and the image sticking of LCD over the entire ambient temperature range. The VCOM calibrator adjusts the VCOM voltage through an I2C compatible interface and provides the temperature compensation by simple external NTC thermistor network. The temperature compensated VCOM calibrator enables the LCD to have the best screen quality and the minimized flicker and image sticking over the entire ambient temperature range.
