DisplayPort is the next generation digital video interface. It simplifies connectors and allows for sleeker displays and notebooks by removing the need for LVDS electronics. Integrating the DisplayPort interface into a Timing Controller (TCON) device, reduces the system cost. Vibrant Picture Quality and power reduction features can be integrated in the same device, bringing optimal picture quality to monitors and televisions.
