We present the first updateable holographic 3‐D display with memory, capable of displaying a new image every few minutes. The holographic display uses a photorefractive polymer composite as recording medium with exceptional properties such as reversibility, high diffraction efficiency, large size (4×4 inches), fast recording and long hologram storage.
