OCB‐mode LCD, which has fast response, requires Splay‐to‐Bend transition before operation. This paper describes quantitative analysis for formation and spread of disclination to create nuclei of the transition and spread area of bend alignment. We designed and produced the prototype of 6.5 inch Full‐HD OCB‐mode FSC‐LCD based on mentioned analysis.
