We investigated the UV and thermal stability of newly developed PI based photopolymer. Image sticking effects of the test cell fabricated by the photoalignment method is compared to that by the rubbing method. Not only the UV and thermal stability, but also the image sticking effect is equivalent to those of the test cell fabricated by the rubbing method. We also demonstrate IPS cell fabricated by the photoalignment method with our material.
