Nowadays, NBPC BLU was requested High Luminance and low power consumption. So, we have studied a new conceptual enhanced light performance film consists of multi high‐refractive materials and functional layers. Using an optical simulation tool, We deduced an new idea and optimized optical design. We have developed the enhanced luminance film according to the optical conditions. When compared to conventional BLU system, Luminance was increased about 110% in 15.4inch NBPC BLU and stabilized for mechanical design. The result showed that new conceptual film realized technical improvement in NBPC BLU system.
