In this paper, we discuss how to improve cooling efficiency of LCD module in natural convection. By using numerical analysis and experiments, we discover that coating high emissivity material on the back surface of LCD module can enhance cooling. After high emissivity surface treating, the temperature of key parts of LCD module reduced. We use LED to be light sources of LCD module. The lower temperature of LED, the more effective of luminance and longer life time.
