One‐chip driver IC for 16 million color (24‐bit color depth) wide extended graphic array (WXGA) low‐temperature polysilicon (LTPS) TFT LCD panel is presented. It adopts the 1:6 demuxing scheme to integrate multiple source driver ICs on a single chip. Also, it incorporates a timing controller (T/CON), a LVDS receiver and level shifters to generate control signals to the panel.
