Abstract Motion blur and color improvement technologies are applied to three popular LC modes, twisted nematic, fringe field switching, and multi‐domain vertical aligned. FFS panel demonstrates the best overall performance. A new metric for avoiding flicker or comparing flicker performance between different panels is proposed.
