Optimizing gamma and V COM setting in a LCD panel is a tedious and time consuming process that usually takes engineers days in the lab. This paper describes an automatic calibration system that is able to achieve the optimum V COM and Gamma setting in less than one minute, enabling automatic gamma and V COM optimization in the production line.
