We have developed an ultra low voltage driving transflective liquid crystal display without high dielectric liquid crystal material, We used a new LC mode configuration. By adjusting cell gap, retardation, film angle (polarizer, retarder), We have achieved 2.5 voltage driving for LC dynamic movement. and hence, The power consumption for LC Driving (analog power) has been reduced by 50%.
