The sand‐paper impression method was investigated in field emission display. Using surface morphology of printed CNTs and physical surface treatments, a 25 mm × 25 mm CNT‐Device with a space of less than 400 μm was fabricated to improve the CNT emission characters. The experimental results illustrated that CNT emission could be obtained quite easily and at low cost for CTN‐FED manufacturing.
