From the light propagation observed along the tube of CCFLs and EEFLs, the electron temperature and the plasma density are estimated as kT e ∼2 eV and n e ∼10 16 m −3 . This might be a new diagnostic technology to measure the plasma parameters in the fine tube of gas discharge.
