We developed a full HD PDP with a 42nch cell pitch applying a new subpixel arrangement. To make a full HD PDP under 50inch we changed conventional R,G,B stripe arrangement into ninety‐degree rotated delta arrangement. and by using NaPLa simulator we checked the luminous efficacy and driving condition. Next we had experiments on the structure variables and found out optimized cell dimension. We checked the luminous efficacy and driving voltage margin with 6inch test panel. The luminous efficacy of a suggested PDP is higher than that of conventional full HD PDP and the operating window is enough to drive. We verified the operation of a proposed PDP with 15inch module.
