Abstract In this paper, a “Fuzzy Contrast Correction” method is proposed to enhance image contrast. This method utilizes histogram distribution analysis and the two‐order Fuzzy decision. To solve two issues: over enhancement and timing‐consumption. This circuit was successfully implemented by properly combinational logic and can enhance image contrast with 50 pixel clocks.
