A considerably low threshold voltage of the electron emission has been observed on spin‐coated [Ca 24 Al 28 O64] 4+ (4e − ) electride powder. The optimal particle density provided an efficient electron emission at a low applied voltage. Experimental results are compared with the calculated ones as a function of the particle density. Light emission was also demonstrated.
