A novel micro‐grooved structure of lightguide and a sequential driving scheme of light sources are proposed to improve image quality of 3D time‐multiplexed mobile display. The distribution of micro‐grooves is modified to suppress the moiré pattern induced by color filter and also achieve directionality and uniformity of greater than 75%. In addition, the driving scheme of lighting up the LEDs in sequence can efficiently reduce the image crosstalk when refreshing images.
