A new retro reflective technique using a pseudo‐phase‐conjugation (PC) mirror, i.e. a corner cube mirror array (CMA) is proposed for light collecting systems to increase the brightness of the light source, thus, increase the light collection efficiency. Measurement data for Wavien dual paraboloid reflector system using a CMA retro‐reflector is presented. The CMA retro reflector is self‐aligned so works regardless of its shape and position. Therefore a cheaper light collection system with bigger manufacture tolerance is possible.
