New deep blue dopants based on a “linked” stilbene moiety have been designed and synthesized. When doped in the stable blue host material, 2‐methyl‐9,10‐di(2‐naphthyl)anthracene (MADN) with a hole blocking layer, the SK‐1 doped blue device achieved a luminance efficiency of 4.7 cd/A with corresponding CIE(inx, y) of (0.145, 0.134) at 20 mA/cm(su2) and an external quantum efficiency of 4.1%.
