Recently, we have developed 32″ WXGA LCD‐TV by True Vision (TV) advanced fringe field switching (AFFS) technology with the CRT like color images that obtained from a design rule upgrade only by optimization of LC electrodynamics with compensation polarizer in off axis, for the first time in the world. Our new device have shown the brightness over 600nits (Color shift < 0.02 and Transmittance ratio > 5%), gray to gray response under 8ms, contrast ratio over 800:1 and viewing angle over 178/178, respectively. When the picture was moving in our device, moving color shift and blurring edge width (BEW area) were under 0.02 and very smaller than other modes, respectively. And also, color reproduction and three HSI white intensity in all viewing angles show CRT like behavior with stable color gamut and nearly same white intensity.
