A novel hole injection layer for organic light‐emitting diode (OLED) has been developed. It consists of a photocatalyst based on TiO 2 , and provides good control of the formation of hydrophobic‐hydrophilic patterns by exposure to UV light. A bilayer device consisting of photocatalyst and emitting layers exhibits the same EL performance as one using PEDOT:PSS for the hole injection layer. Finally, this method was used to fabricate 85‐ppi full‐color OLED panels.
