Abstract Increasing the efficiency of solution‐processable red emitters should allow the performance of OLED displays to be greatly improved. This paper discusses our progress with red‐emitting phosphorescent dendrimers, which offer excellent opportunities for achieving high efficiencies and are increasingly becoming an important technology for the next generation of OLED displays.
