Abstract— The spatio‐temporal variations of 147‐nm, 173‐nm, and IR emission images were obtained from He‐Xe and Ne‐Xe surface‐discharge‐type ACPDP cells. Differences between the 147‐nm, 173‐nm, and IR emission characteristics between He‐Xe and Ne‐Xe gas mixtures were observed and explained by the difference of Xe mobility and dimer reaction coefficients in two cases.
