— In this work, the principle of 3‐D holographic moving‐image reconstruction is considered, which is based on the acousto‐optical interaction effect. The excitation by a multi‐element system of transducers acoustical field represents, in fact, an electronically controlled “thick” optical hologram. The results of the numerical simulation of the image‐reconstruction process are presented. The advantages and shortcomings of the suggested method are discussed.
