— Recently, we have developed advanced fringe field switching (AFFS) technology that demonstrates unlimited viewing angle and good color characteristics by upgrading the design rule. We only optimized the LC electrodynamics without using high‐aperture resin technology or enhanced films. Our new device has shown a brightness of over 184 nits, a contrast ratio of over 600:1, a low color shift, and a viewing angle of over 175/175, respectively.
