Instrumentation measurement of CRT convergence is not widely deployed in CRT display production lines today due to its high cost and slow measurement speed. A new method of CRT convergence measurement using low cost monochrome CCD sensors is reported here. Zone focus, in‐situ calibration, filter‐less color discrimination, on screen display, and high speed are some of the key attributes of this new instrument.
