Abstract A low‐voltage interface is essential for AMLCDs with integrated drivers in order to achieve a simple, low‐power interface between the panel and the peripherals. In this paper, we propose an architecture for a low‐voltage interface together with circuit embodiments which are well suited to implementation in CGS technology. The new circuitry has much lower power consumption than conventional methods.
