An electrophoretic rewritable sheet using microencapsulated suspension (MC‐EPS) and means of imaging, on it are discussed. An experimental prototype MC‐EPS was fabricated and evaluated by printing images on with a photoconductive drum of a commercially available laser printer. In the experiment, good qualities of printing and grayscale (expressiveness were obtained. As a result, the feasibility of the MC‐EPS as a practical rewritable medium was ascertained.
