We have successfully demonstrated light emission from bilayer devices based on polymeric/inorganic heterojunction. In comparison with single polymer diodes, the brightness and luminescence efficiency of bilayer device improved 14 times and 26 times respectively under 10V dc. The EL spectrum of bilayer device shifts continuously as the applied voltage increase. The shift is ascribed to the superposition of emission from polymer layer and inorganic layer.
