Three dimentional, self‐consistent simulations of Ne‐Xe discharges in a single‐substrate plasma display panel (PDP) cell with barrier ribs are presented. We investigate the influence of the address elec‐ trode and rib spacing on the spreading and confinement of sustain discharges.
