Topcoats (V‐259EH) containing Cardo epoxy resins enable to make the difference in height of RGB pixel small enough, for example less than 50 nm. The planation enable to prepare the small cell gap, which leads to fast response time of STN‐LCDS. The topcoat also have good chemical resistance and transparency.
