A software which optimizes the design parameters of Deflection Yoke (DY) for CRT regarding convergence and raster distortion was developed. This program enables objective function to optimize by means of primary and secondary differentials of convergence and distortion. Conjugate gradient method with linear constraints is used to optimize objective function. We have confirmed the DY can be practically designed with this program.
