This paper describes some experimental investigation on the vibration problem of Aperture Grille in Trinitron CRT, based on experimental modal analysis technique. It is found that the cause of Aperture Grille vibration due to elastic mode of the frame. It is also found that Aperture Grille, though consisting of numerous independent fine strings, demonstrates somewhat membrane vibration characteristics.
