To improve a PDP's moving picture quality, various methods have been developed to reduce the dynamic false contour. We propose a “Multi‐Level Sub‐field (MLS)” in which adjacent pixel's sub‐field bit sequence are changed, thus reducing the affect of the dynamic false contour.
