We have developed the world's first 25‐inch diagonal high resolution color PDP (Plasma Display Panel) with 1280×1024 pixels (SXGA). The newly developed cell structure and a high speed driving method enable a wide operating voltage range and a 1.5μs scan/line addressing speed. These have made a high resolution color PDP with 0.39mm pixel pitch being a reality.
