With increasing market competition in Color Display Terminals (CDTs), surface coatings featuring good conductivity and antireflection have been experiencing revolutionary changes during the past ten years. In this paper, all coating materials and processing technologies will be reviewed. Most recent developments on surface coating technologies will also be illustrated.
