The novel pixel structure on which the line memory is imple mented has been proposed. and the channel doping of the analog switch is separately controlled from the other parts of the driver circuits. Both of these contribute to the size reduction of the source driver. Using the proposed source driver, we developed poly‐Si TFT‐LCD panel for HDTV and XGA displays with very high area‐efficiency.
