Fluoro‐isothiocyanated three‐ring and two‐ring liquid crystal compounds has been synthesized. They showed remarkably high nematic‐isotropic transition temperature, wide nematic temperature range, high dielectric and optical anisotropy, as well as a high‐voltage holding ratio of 98 %, rating them suitable for AM‐LCD applications.
