An off‐axis asymmetrical microlens array light control film (AMA‐LCF) for brightness and contrast enhancement in reflective liquid crystal displays (LCDs) is demonstrated. The AMA‐LCF is laminated to the top surface of the reflective LCDs, and directs incident light into a reflected cone near normal to the display surface, yielding a gain about 1X to 10X of MgO standard‐white at the typical viewing region from 0° to 20°. Moreover, glare can be greatly reduced.
