A new mass production line for Organic Light‐emitting Diode (OLED) display is designed to overcome obstacles of current operating lines. We adopted in‐line operating scheme instead of usual cluster one to the line for more flexible processing options and so easier line expansions or modifications. By utilizing linear‐2type sources and substrate transporting carriers, thickness uniformities of different organic layers evaporated are well controlled within 2% over the area of 200 mm × 230 mm. We also attached glass‐can encapsulation system instead of usual metal‐can one to the line for faster processing time and better processing reliability. As the result, the TACT time of this new line is about 3.5 min. An OLED module fabricated is introduced.
