An all‐plastic, reflective color LTPS TFT LCD has been developed with a typical PDA‐size of 3.8‐inch in diagonal. This panel has 0.4mm in thickness and weighs only three grams. The TFT layer on a plastic substrate was prepared in our original transfer process, which does not leave any significant damage to the device layer. Owing to the flexibility of the substrates, the panel can be bent with an image displayed in operation. The changes in LTPS TFT characteristics with a substrate bending are also investigated for the first time, which reveals a mobility change of 16% under 0.75% compression. This technology will allow us to make a lightweight, shock‐resistant LCD panel practically, which is well suited to mobile applications.
