False contours occurs on PDP since the eye tracks moving objects in a video scene. To correctly render these moving objects the definitive solution is to use the motion information and pre‐compensate the eye's tracking. Such a solution will be presented using a pixel‐based motion estimator combined to an efficient video coding technique.
