Abstract We observed the phosphor emissions and the mis‐addressing discharge in a Triangular Color‐pixel Arrangement structure that occurs more frequently in higher Xe contents. By analyzing the observed emissions and mis‐addressing phenomenon, we developed a misaddressing‐free 50‐inch XGA TCA Triangular Color‐pixel Arrangement structure which also showed the higher efficacy characteristics.
