Suitable scribing conditions for AMLCD glass substrates OA‐10 and OA‐21 were experimentally investigated in order to prevent cutting failure or chipping during the scribing and breaking processes. The suitable scribing load range for OA‐21, a newly designed low‐density glass substrate, is slightly higher than that for OA‐10.
