Notebook application has been one of the most important driving forces for the remarkable growth of Liquid Crystal Displays (LCDs). Monitor, Television and Mobile phone in addition to Notebook will be the interesting application fields as future LCDs. The recent Liquid Crystal Material development for these future LCD technologies will be reviewed.
