JVC released D‐ILA™ (Direct Drive Image Light Amplifier) which is featured extra bright, high definition (true SXGA) and high contrast images in 1998. We confirmed 85% of reflectivity can be obtained as the average of 500–600nm, and also 80% as R and B channel with modification of Pixel Gap Leveling and Reflection enhancement layers.
