The electro‐optic properties of polymer networked liquid crystals formed in an electric field show that the polymer network tends to align the liquid crystal molecules in the direction the director had during exposure, with a strength depending on the concentration of the polymer network, and suggest that the polymer network is not distributed uniformly throughout the cell thickness.
