Silica aerogel thin film with extremely low refractive index was formed on the glass substrate by sol‐gel coating and supercritical drying. Using this substrate, we fabricated the OLED and observed the disappearance of wave‐guiding propagation within the glass substrate and the improvement of the coupling‐out efficiency.
