We have developed a new scaling technique, which we call “Advanced Scaling with Preserving Extracted Contour's Transition (ASPECT)”. When an image is expanded, it generally lose uniformity and become blurred. ASPECT change the scaling ratio at the contour of an image so that it can maintain sharpness of the expanded image. Thus the technology can create a crisp expanded image without producing artifacts caused by non‐uniformity or overshooting.
